MARLBOROUGH, MA — Skinner Auctioneers will host an online auction of Sports Memorabilia, from December 7-15 , 2021. The highlights of the sale include numerous rare sports cards from the longtime collection of a passionate Boston sports fan, who celebrates the elite players in baseball, football, basketball and hockey.
Skinner is successfully breaking into sports card sales, offering the most desired and highest valued football card – Tom Brady’s 2000 Contenders Championship Rookie Ticket, autographed by the future first Hall of Fame ballot quarterback. Only 100 of these cards were produced and they have sold from just over $200,000 to over $3M. The Brady ticket has been graded by the PSA and is estimated at $300,000-500,000.
“Skinner is proud to enter the game featuring Tom Brady cards, because we have been privileged to see his winning ways firsthand here in New England. His legacy is continuing to grow; during this Fall 2021 season alone, Brady threw for his 600th touchdown, the first NFL player in history to do so.” said Marie Keep, managing director at Skinner.
Skinner will be offering a total of 34 Tom Brady cards, including the following:
2000 SPX Tom Brady #130 Rookie Card, PSA NM-MT 8, $10,000-$15,000
