Discovery Country Americana live and Jewelry & Silver online February 4th through 12th

MARLBOROUGH, MA – March 4, 2016 – Skinner is hosting a live auction of Country Americana on Thursday, March 10 and an online-only auction of Jewelry & Silver from March 3 through 11. Bidders are invited to view items and meet with specialists in person on March 8 and 9, or anytime online.

The live auction features over 700 lots of 18th, 19th and 20th century Americana including Chippendale, Federal, country and reproduction furniture, folk art, quilts from an Arkansas collector, British and Asian ceramics, metalwork, glass and more. The online auction features Victorian, Art Deco, retro and contemporary gold and gemstone jewelry, as well as sterling and plated hollowware and flatware for the table. In addition to jewelry and silver the online auction features The Kosow Collection of Handbags, a selection of about 160 vintage and contemporary handbags ranging from small Judith Leiber minaudières to large leather tote bags. Designers include Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Pierre Cardin, Judith Leiber, Rudolph Krell, Moschino, Christian Dior, Prada, Gucci, and Ferragamo.

  1. for possible auction, submitting my Lakota indian shield . in black paint, is a vision of a thunderbird with lightening radiating from its wings. I believe it is a early 20th century piece.size 14 inches round. interested?
