Join Skinner at the Woodlawn Museum, Gardens & Park in Ellsworth Maine for an evening of antiques, education and socialization on Friday, September 30 followed by an Appraisal Day on Saturday, October 1.
On Friday evening guests can enjoy a Skinner “What’s It Worth?” event starting with a wine and cheese reception from 4:30-5:30PM. Browse through he Black House with Skinner expert appraisers Kerry Shrives and Jane Prentiss and learn about a number of pieces in the Woodlawn collection. From 5:30-7:30 the group will gather in the estate’s Sleigh Barn to enjoy a presentation where the appraisers will provide information and estimated values on the objects that guests have brought to the event.

$20 per item or 3 items for $50
Open to the public. Registration begins at 8:30AM
On Saturday morning a second appraisal opportunity for the public will be held where participants can meet individually with a Skinner appraiser for a verbal appraisal and possible consignment of their items. While participants wait there will be free admission to walk through the Black House and the public park and gardens will be open. If the weather is fair, you can also enjoy watching a game of 6 wicket croquet by the Woodlawn croquet players. All proceeds benefit the Woodlawn Museum
Items not included at these events are coins, stamps, jewelry and musical instruments. Good quality photos may be substituted for large or particularly fragile items.
