Join us on Zoom for a talk by Dr. Henry Duffy, Curator Emeritus, Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site, who will be discussing Augustus Saint-Gaudens and his sculptures of Abraham Lincoln.

Dr. Henry J. Duffy is a historian of nineteenth-century painting and sculpture, and an authority on the work of Augustus Saint-Gaudens. He is a frequent lecturer, and commentator on PBS, A&E, ESPN and other cable networks. Dr. Duffy received a BA with Honors in Art from Drew University, an MA from the Clark Art Institute at Williams College, and a Ph.D. from Rutgers University. He held museum positions with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New-York Historical Society, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and most recently with the National Park Service, where he served as Curator for the Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park from 1998-2021, and Acting Curator at Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park 2020-21. He has published extensively and curated museum exhibitions about nineteenth-century topics.
