  1. I have A Charles Dickens book 1871 autographed. Also A life of William Shakespeare 1899 without an autograph. Looking to sell.

  2. Dear Sharon,Charles Dickens died in 1870 so the signature is not authentic. These books are not of high value and are not something we would offer at auction.

  3. I have the 1977 first edition book of Great American Short Stories by Reader’s Digest. There is an author’s signature on each short story (51 total). Some of the authors are F. Scott Fitzgerald, Mark Twain, Ernest Hemingway, John Steinbeck, Edgar Allan Poe, Truman Capote, Washington Irving, Nathaniel Hawthorne, etc. Would this be something you would consider for auction? I also have the 1974 Great Short Stories of the World. It also has author’s signature on each of the short stories (71 total). Some of the authors are John Steinbeck, Ernest Hemingway, Mark Twain, Katherine Anne Porter, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Truman Capote, etc.
