A friend purchased a 20 “ tall urn/umbrella stand hand thrown white pot with hand applied grapevine in colored glazed. It has an Artisan mark scratched into the bottom with 87 or 97 in marker pen. The bottom has a circular base carved into the outer edge. It is a rustic corse yellow/red clay.
She is trying to get more information about it. It appears to be of an Italian Majolica style.
Hello Leila, Thanks very much for your message. Please submit images and a detailed description of the urn to the Appraisal Services Department: https://www.skinnerinc.com/selling/sell-at-auction/ or at evaluations@skinnerinc.com and our Appraisals Department will return any information that we can to you as well as an auction evaluation. Thank you!
