Sam Gilliam (American, b. 1933) Yellow Fan-White Float (Sold for: $267,000 on January 26, 2018)

Robin S.R. Starr – Director of American & European Works of Art, will be on-hand to evaluate paintings, prints, sculpture, and photography for upcoming auctions. She is looking forward to seeing examples by listed, sought-after artists, as well as iconic works of fine art photography from the 19th through 21st centuries, with market interest over $1000. Post-War and Contemporary Art is particularly strong in the current market.

Jane Prentiss – Our director of the 20th Century Design department is seeking to round-out her next auction with examples from Tiffany Studios, signed Italian and Scandinavian design lamps, and furniture by George Nakashima, Hans Wegner, Sam Maloof, Philip and Kelvin Laverne and Judy McKie.  She is particularly interested in evaluating Decorative and Fine Arts from the Art Nouveau, Arts & Crafts, Art Deco and Modern movements.

Michelle Lamunière – Specialist of Fine Photographs will be available to provide verbal auction evaluation and accept consignments for the three annual auctions which feature Photography. Skinner represents a great variety of antique, modern and contemporary 19th and 20th century photography by known and iconic artists as well as photos of historic importance.

  1. Would you be able to evaluate a tapestry roughly 6′ by 5′ ( assuming English) that I inherited from my Grandmother’s estate at your October 2nd evaluation ‘open House’?
