Join us for First Tuesday in Marlborough
Tuesday, November 5 | 1:30PM – 4PM
Specialists Robin S.R. Starr, Jonathan Dowling & Kerry Shrives will be on hand to evaluate items and accept consignments for upcoming auctions.
Robin S.R. Starr – Director of American & European Works of Art, will be on-hand to evaluate paintings, prints, sculpture, and photography for upcoming auctions. She is looking forward to seeing examples by listed, sought-after artists, as well as iconic works of fine art photography from the 19th through 21st centuries, with market interest over $1000. Post-War and Contemporary Art is particularly strong in the current market.
Jonathan Dowling – From the multi-faceted Clocks, Watches & Scientific Instruments Department, Jonathan will be looking for wristwatches, pocket watches, clocks, and important historical and scientific material. Bring in your timepieces and related collectibles for an auction evaluation and the opportunity to consign for future auctions.
Kerry Shrives – Our Generalist this month is Skinner’s Senior Vice President Kerry Shrives. Kerry will be available to appraise furniture, fine art, decorative arts, Americana, folk art, ceramics, glass, bronzes, silver and more. We’ve had many extraordinary objects come our way through First Tuesdays; if you have more than a few items for us to evaluate, a houseful, or if your property cannot be easily transported, please get in touch to discuss.
