Specialists Robin S.R. Starr, Stuart Slavid, Kaitlin Shinnick and Chris Barber will be on hand to evaluate items and accept consignments for upcoming auctions.
Experts Available in April:
Robin S.R. Starr – Director of American & European Works of Art will be on-hand to evaluate paintings, prints, sculpture, and photography for Skinner’s 2018 auctions. She is looking forward to seeing examples by listed, sought-after artists, as well as iconic works of fine art photography from the 19th through 21st centuries, with market interest over $1000. Robin has noted that in the current market Post-War and Contemporary Art is particularly strong.
Stuart Slavid – Director of Fine Ceramics, Fine Silver and European Furniture & Decorative Arts is promising yet another successful year for his department, and you can be a part of it! Stuart’s specialty areas are: English and Continental ceramics of the 18th through 20th centuries, Wedgwood pottery, fine silver, and so much more.
Kaitlin Shinnick – Senior Specialist of Fine Jewelry will be appraising Fine Jewelry, Antique Jewelry, Gemstones and watches. Our Fine Jewelry Department regularly holds four auctions yearly and are actively seeking consignments of Fine Jewelry. Whether antique or contemporary, Kaitlin is available to evaluate your luxury goods.
Chris Barber – Our Generalist this month is from the American Furniture & Decorative Arts Department. He is particularly seeking folk art, early ceramics, blown and historic glass, early metalwork, silver, and furniture.
