Paintings, Prints and Photography Bring $2.7 Million at Skinner

Boston, Mass – September 24, 2012 – Skinner, Inc. realized strong prices for rare and important works at its recent auction of American & European Works of Art. The sale, which took place on Friday, September 7th in two sessions at the Skinner Boston gallery, totaled $2,773,169, including buyer’s premium. “We are extremely pleased with the sale,” said director Robin Starr. “These results are evidence that great art – on both canvas and paper – continues to inspire competitive bidding and bring excellent prices.”
