First edition, seven octavo volumes, illustrated throughout with 500 colored lithographs; half-titles and subscriber lists present in each volume, contemporary full green morocco with gilt ruling, page edges gilt, title, author, and volume number gilt to spines (foxing to endpapers and some interior pages, front cover of vol. VII detached, spines of vols. IV, VI, and VII partially lacking, spine of vol. I intact but partially detached, some detached pieces of spines retained),10 1/4 x 6 1/2 in.
