"Zebedee Cook" Liverpool Transfer Decorated Creamware Jug, England, late 18th century, one side with a map of the eastern seaboard of America and George Washington, the other with an American sailing ship the front inscribed "ZEBEDEE COOK" above a spread wing eagle, ht. 9 1/2 in.
Note: Zebedee Cook (1760-1845) was a Newburyport, Massachusetts, merchant and an ancestor of Nina Fletcher Little.
