Rare 18kt Gold Abner Lowell & William Senter Key-wind Hunter-case Watch, Portland, Maine, c. 1840, fully engraved case with roman numeral dial signed "Lowell & Senter/Portland Mc." with sunk seconds at six, three-quarter-plate key-wind swing-out movement with bimetallic balance and flat blued hairspring, engraved "Portland/33024/Lowell & Senter," case stamped "L&S and 33024," dia. 54 mm, 119g.
Note: Mr. Lowell and Mr. Senter both apprenticed with Oliver Gerrish of Portland, Maine.
