Pair of Gilt-bronze-mounted Potpourri Urns, France, early 19th century, the pierced bell-form tops with pineapple finials, supported by three cast goat heads joined by foliate, beaded, and reeded rims, shaped legs and cast hairy hoof feet on a triangular pedestal with concave sides, further cast pineapples and waterleaves, ht. 17 1/2 in.
Overall very good condition. Each lid with a couple tiny chips near reticulated detail. Age-typical wear to the gilding on the bronze, particularly around the goats heads.
