Signed and inscribed "Cecil Kennedy/UVONGO/NATAL" lower right, titled in the artist's hand on the stretcher, further inscribed "Painted in Uvongo Natal in the Spring Oct-Nov-Dec 1982" on the stretcher.
Oil on linen, 20 x 16 in. (50.5 x 41.0 cm),framed.
Condition: Small (1/2 in.) horizontal line of craquelure with slight lifting to background at upper right edge.

Framed dimensions are 26 1/4 x 22 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches.
Titled Spring on a presentation plaque on the front of the frame.
