Signed or inscribed "N. Diaz." lower right, numbered "No. 2096" in an older hand and "17483" in a modern hand, both on the reverse
Oil on panel, 8 1/2 x 14 1/8 in. (21.7 x 36.0 cm),in a period frame.
Condition: Possible retouch over minor frame abrasion, fine, stable craquelure.
Estimate $3,000-5,000
Framed dimensions are 17 x 22 1/2 x 2 5/8 inches.
Panel with a scrawled name on the reverse, perhaps "...Jean Maitz."
Frame inscribed ".../Diaz f. No. 2096" on the back.
Other faint numbers in red chalk and in white chalk on the back of the frame.
