Unsigned, identified on a presentation plaque and on a handwritten label affixed to the stretcher.
Oil on canvas, 30 x 25 in. (76.0 x 63.0 cm),framed.
Condition: Lined, canvas indentation and abrasions to the background in the upper left quadrant, old retouch, possible overcleaning to the background in some areas, craquelure, drying cracks, heavy varnish layer.
Estimate $4,000-6,000

Framed dimensions are 36 1/4 x 31 1/8 x 2 3/4 inches.

Label on the reverse seems to have been written by or to record the ownership of "H.E. Lewis." H.E. Lewis seems to have been British, 20th Century, painter.
