Unsigned, identified in a pencil inscription on the stretcher and on a gummed label from Dartmouth College affixed to the stretcher.
Oil on Masonite, 47 3/4 x 23 3/4 in. (121.5 x 60.2 cm),framed.
Condition: Scattered small drips of discolored varnish, minor losses to the lower right corner and at the upper left edge, surface grime.
Provenance: From the artist to the present collection, 1959. Property of the Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College. Sold for the benefit of the collection.
