Two Brocade Buddhist Monk's Robes, Kesa, Japan, 19th/20th century, one with painted flower details on a blue ground with contrasting red silk patches; the other woven with floral and geometric vignettes on a navy silk ground with contrasting russet patches, 42 x 75 1/2 and 44 1/2 x 71 in. respectively.
