This sale will be highlighted by a rare Tornek-Rayville TR 900 military issued dive watch. This will be the ninth offering of these rare watches to surface at Skinner over the last decade. We will also be offering an array of 19th and 20th century wrist and pocket watches from various European and American makers and manufacturers. A nice collection of NOS (New Old Stock) wristwatch examples from a single owner collection will also be available by maker’s such as Grand Seiko.
The first offering of the new year featuring scientific instruments will also be part of this sale. Highlighted by a Christian Hurtin No. 28 Surveyor’s Compass from Goshen, New York, c. 1802. Early musical boxes will also be available with the Regina “Corona 36” Automatic Disc Musical Box, and the Regina “Corona” 27-inch “Home Model” Automatic Disc Musical Box, both being the pinnacle of the Regina manufacturing company.
