Condition: Lined, old retouch, fine craquelure, minor old paint losses beneath the varnish.

Framed dimensions are 24 1/2 x 20 5/8 x 2 inches.
Frame with auction labels from Christie's and from Doyle. Doyle sale was November 28, 2007.
Christie's sale was probably May 22, 1996, Property from the Torch Collection of Torch Energy Advisors, Inc. (not illustrated on Christie's web site, and dimensions are reversed) The Christie's entry provides provenance through Hirschl & Adler, New York, and includes an exhibition listing at the Brooklyn Museum, "Brooklyn's Bounty: Natural Splendor and Domestic Opulence," April 16-May 21, 1985.
