Antique Gold and Shell Cameo Suite, c. 1830, comprising a necklace, a pair of bracelets, one additional bracelet, and two brooches, each set with cameos depicting various mythological scenes, all framed by burr motifs and turquoise cabochons, the necklace lg. 14 1/2, the bracelets 6 1/8, 6, and 6 1/4, the brooches 1 1/2, 15/16 in.

Good to fair antique condition. Acid tests for 18kt gold. Cameos with hairlines and overall wear. Tarnish. Discoloration to turquoise. Larger brooch with solder, later pinstem, pinstem not gold. Smaller brooch damaged. Cameo cracked. Gross wt. 43.4 dwt.
