Sterling Silver Tea Service with Monogram for the Wife of Louis Comfort Tiffany, New York, c. 1870-1875, pattern #1982, a variation of the Persian pattern; monogrammed "MWG" for Mary Woodbridge Goddard; coffeepot, ht. 8 3/4; teapot, ht. 5; hot water pitcher, ht. 7; creamer, ht. 4 1/2; covered sugar, ht. 4 1/2; and waste bowl, ht. 3 1/2 in.; approx. 103.48 troy oz.
Provenance: Property of Mary Woodbridge Goddard, first wife of Louis Comfort Tiffany; direct generational descent to the present Tiffany family descendant.
