Pre-Columbian Textile Fragment, Huari or Chancay culture, Tihuanaco, Peru, c. 1000-1400 AD, cotton and wool tapestry woven textile fragment in natural dyed browns, ochre, red, white, and black, worked in four horizontal bands depicting stylized animals and birds with narrow geometric dividing bands, with long fringe at bottom, framed, size of textile 15 x 21, size of frame 24 1/2 x 29 in.
