English Basket Hilt Broadsword, c. 1680, iron basket hilt with plain straps and panels, one strap marked "77," ovoid pommel, and copper wire wrapped grip; straight double-edged blade with three narrow fullers, blade lg. 34, overall lg. 39 5/8 in.

Iron is bright with scattered gray and brown mottling, hilt and grip are a bit loose, blade edge has a few shallow nicks, slight bend at the tip.
