Two 18th Century Compasses, the small likely English brass case compass with threaded lid, brass indicator ring, printed paper compass rose and blued steel needle; the likely American wood case compass with pen and ink and watercolor directional paper with watercolor house and ship scenes, modern black needle under the glass, wd. to 5 1/4 in.

Brass compass missing the gnomon and paper inside the lid is detached; wood compass glass plate is loose, needle is a modern replacement.
