Four Blue Transfer Jugs, England, c. 1795-1810, an earthenware jug printed with a line-engraved version of the Pearl River House pattern, molded handle, unmarked, ht. 6 3/4; a large earthenware jug printed with the line-engraved Swan and Peacocks pattern, unmarked, ht. 8; a tall earthenware jug printed with a variation of the Conversation pattern, brown enameled rim, unmarked, ht. 9 1/2; and an earthenware jug printed with a line-engraved Fig Tree Chinoiserie pattern, molded handle with acanthus terminals, unmarked, ht. 9 in.
Provenance: The Zeller Collection.
Estimate $400-600
Pearl River House jug: Very good condition with small chips to the spout and inner rim were professionally restored.
Swan and Peacock jug: Very good condition with some crazing. Professionally cleaned.
Conversation Pattern, Variation jug: Very good condition with no evidence of chips, cracks, or restorations.
Fig Tree Chinoiserie jug: Very good condition with only one very small nick to the base.
