Marc Chagall (Russian/French, 1887-1995)
Chagall Lithographs, volumes I-VI, published by Editions André Sauret, Paris, each volume in a different year. Sizes 13 x 9 1/2 in. (33.0 x 24.3 cm),each with its original pictorial dust jacket (four of which are lithographic; the last two are offset).
Condition: Wear, nicks and some ink loss to dust jackets (especially along upper and lower edges and at corners),edges of pages darkened, each volume includes each of the lithographs with which they were originally published.

Volume I with 11 original lithographs plus the cover; Volume II with 11 plus cover; Volume III 1 plus cover; Volume IV 1 plus cover; Volumes V & VI with none, all as published.
Volumes I has the most wear to its cover of the group, and especially to the back. Volume II has a tears (about 1 1/2 in) to its back cover. Volume III has minor wear, and the others even less wear. Volume III has no plastic protector over its jacket. Boards to Volume V slightly curved (mostly the back one),and Volume VI is more warped.
Inside the volumes the original lithographs are all included, and their conditions are good. Volume I has a 1/2 inch area to the first page (whhich is blank on both sides). Volume I and II have more prevalent toning to the edges of the pages (not apparent to the lithographs except subtly where the edges of the images are very pale); III and IV have slightly less; and V and VI have almost none.
