Georges Braque (French, 1882-1963)
Paris 1910, alternatively titled Nature morte sur une table, 1910-1911, impression from the 1954 edition of 30, published by Maeght Editeur, Paris (Vallier, 3). Signed "G Braque" in pencil l.r., numbered "19/30" in pencil l.l., identified on a label from the Thomas Segal Gallery, Boston, affixed to the backing. Etching on paper, plate size 7 5/8 x 10 7/8 in. (19.4 x 27.7 cm),framed.
Condition: Gentle toning to sheet, not examined out of frame.

Out of the frame the sheet measures 15 x 22 1/4 in., has deckled edges and a partial Arches watermark. There are 2 lines of mat burn, and the margins outside of the smaller line of mat burn is irregularly stained and toned (the verso is less toned and more evenly). There are several small stray marks to the margins - one to the left margin is just over 3/8 in long; the other few are much smaller. There is a pinhole near both of the upper corners. There are pencil annotations tot he lower margin and the verso. The work is hinged to the facing mat near the upper corners.
