An autumn gold rush was struck in recent months at Skinner, offering harvests of American and World Gold for this December sale. Veins of silver sprung with classic Seated Liberty designs and Morgan Dollars and a host of selections by nations around the globe. A layer of Ancients from Greece, Rome, and India provide the foundations.
Treasures to be found include some excellent representations of World and American Gold coinage, highlighted by a rare 1903-R Italy 100 Lire, a gold German Shooting Medal, and selections of later nineteenth century and early twentieth century American gold. An 1848 Seated Liberty Dollar leads the assembly of choice 1800s silver coins, and silver enthusiasts will experience hordes of investment potential.
