Wedgwood Dark Blue Jasper Dip Vase on a Drum Base, England, 19th century, applied white classical figures in relief to a vase bordered with laurel bands, arabesque flowers and fruiting grapevine drops, the cylindrical drum base with fruiting grapevine festoons terminating at leopard masks, overall ht. 22 3/4, vase ht. 9 1/4, drum 13 1/2 in.; impressed marks.

Vase and drum are a marriage. Vase with slight chip and edge ground down slightly along top rim. Drum with slight flake along top edge.
