Three Staffordshire Pottery Toby Jugs, England, 19th century, each polychrome decorated in overglaze enamels, a Hearty Good Fellow, ht. 10 1/2; a Night Watchman, ht. 8 3/4; and one modeled seated and holding a frothing stein and a pipe, ht. 9 3/4 in.
Estimate $400-600
Hearty Good Fellow: Scattered flaking of enamels to handle.
Night Watchman: Hairlines about the head and to one hand; crazing to the base.
Standard toby: some enamel retouch and sizable areas of enamel loss, primarily to hat, shoes and coat.
