Four Dutch Tin-glazed Toby Jugs with Covers, Holland, 19th century, each polychrome enamel decorated and consisting of two pairs of man and woman seated, inscribed under the base "B.P.," approx. ht. 13 in.
Estimate $500-700
One cover broken in half and with losses and needing repair. Same cover with sizable chip to inner collar and another slight one nder hat brim. Otherwise, each in very good condition with no other evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations. Each with age typical and very scattered glaze loss.
