Yorkshire-type Pearlware Toby Jug, England, c. 1800, figural handle, underglaze polychrome enameled to a seated figure wearing a plaid coat and modeled holding a cup in one hand, a pitcher in the other, a coiled pipe by his side, sponged hat and base, ht. 9 7/8 in.
Cup broken off and simply reattached at join to hand. No other evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations throughout.
