English Hanger, c. 1765-1775, brass grip with floral chased and engraved quillons and pommel with remnants of gilding, double chain knuckle bow, green-dyed spiral-carved ivory grip, curved single-edge blade with one narrow and one wide fuller and false edge at the tip, blade lg. 24, overall lg. 29 3/4 in.

Grip is slightly loose on the tang, capstan rivet appears to have been tightened; bright blade with moderate pitting and gray mottled toning.
