Ilbery No. 5966 Gold and Enamel Pocket Chronometer Produced for the Chinese Market, enamel work attributed to the Jean-Louis Richter workshops, c. 1810, white enameled roman numeral dial with gold heart-tipped hands, sunk seconds, front and rear bezels decorated with blue, red, and white champlevé, painted rear spring-loaded back depicting an alpine scene with a young couple with Imperial blue translucent enamel sky over guilloché, fixed engine-turned cuvette, gilt engraved dust cap, 8-jewel chain fusee movement with engraved gilt-brass plate with circular pillars, spring detent escapement was designed to have a Peto cross detente escapement, gold balance with four timing screws, signed "Ilbery London No. 5966," dia. 58 mm.
