Join us in Marlborough on Thursday, September 30th at 10AM for a live auction of American Works of Art, including painting, sculpture, and works on paper. Early 19th century painters through early Modernists are represented, including works by Arthur Dove, Percival Rosseau, Granville Redmond, Elizabeth Nourse, Marguerite Zorach, and the under-documented Hudson River School painter Louisa Davis Minot. The auction also includes a group of works by Frederick Carl Frieseke, descended within the artist’s family. Other highlights include works by a selection of contemporary southwestern artists and Cape Ann painters.
