Pair of Snipe, 1931, proof A-6 (Paff, 323). Signed "FrankW.Benson." in pencil l.l., titled and inscribed "...A-6..." in pencil l.l. Etching with plate tone on laid paper, plate size 3 7/8 x 5 3/4 in. (9.7 x 14.4 cm),unmatted, unframed.
Condition: Full sheet with deckled upper edges, pencil annotations to lower margin, minor soiling to margins.

Provenance: Descended within the family of the artist.

N.B. The only change to the composition prior to the published state is the completion of the horizon line.
