Leonard Baskin (American, 1922-2000)
Laus Pictorum, A Portfolio of Fifteen Prints, 1969, total edition of 525, published by the Gehenna Press, Northampton. Each signed "Baskin" in pencil l.r. and numbered "XLIX/C" in pencil l.l., each in its own mat embossed with the name of the depicted artist. Woodcuts and etchings (several with color) on paper, sheet sizes 14 x 11 in. (35.5 x 27.8 cm),unbound in leather cover, and in the original clamshell box.
Condition: Extremely minor handling crimps to several sheets; includes only one set of the prints rather than the two normally contained in the edition numbered I to C.
