Federal Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Eagle-inlaid Chest of Drawers, attributed to Michael Allison, New York, early 19th century, the rectangular top above a deep drawer with large figured mahogany veneer pointed oval panel flanked by facing eagles and stars within vertical diamonds, above three graduated beaded drawers, on cutout base joining flaring French feet, brasses appear original, refinished, ht. 45, wd. 45, dp. 22 in.
