Angelfish. Signed "Richard Ellis" in pencil l.r., dedicated "For Dennis, with best birthday wishes (mine): Thanks for everything" in pencil l.l. Gouache on paper, sight size 9 3/4 x 14 5/8 in., framed. Condition: Not examined out of frame.

Framed dimensions 11 x 16 x 1/2 inches.

Although the frame was not opened during cataloging, the condition appears good. The artist used some whiting or white gouache to redefine the lower tip of the tail and lower point of the back fin.
