Two Takeshi Sano Art Glass Vases, Japan, 2007, Morning Haze in the Highlands and Untitled, blown glass, both with incised signature, ht. 12 1/2 to 13 1/4 in.
Note: Sano returned to his native Japan from Australia, where he studied at the Canberra School of Art, and in 1998 established a studio in Toyama that he shares with his wife, artist Youko Sano. He exhibits primarily throughout Japan, participating in glass and craft competitions where he has won numerous awards.
