Stork Club Water Pitcher, East Liverpool, Ohio, mid-20th century, manufactured by Hall China, stork logo and "Stork Club," ink stamp mark "Hall made in USA 833," ht. 7 1/4 in.
Note: Between 1929 and 1965 the Stork Club was the place to see and be seen. Politicians, socialites, film stars, and a gangster or two were frequent guests. Regulars included Bing Crosby, Jack and Jackie Kennedy, Ernest Hemingway, Walter Winchell, and J. Edgar Hoover.
