Framed dimensions are 26 3/8 x 32 3/8 x 1 inches.
The frame was opened during preview. The sheet size is 21 3/4 x 28 3/4 inches. A fine pencil line defines the rectangle of the composition. Scattered foxing across the top 1/5 of the composition. Minor soiling to the margins. One very tiny surface loss in the cliff at u.l. quadrant measuring 1/16 inch, next to a tiny raised area (1/8 inch) under the brown pigment where there must have been a small accretion on the paper surface prior to the artist using it. Tack holes at upper corners. Tape along the bottom edge of the recto appears original as used by the artist to hold the paper in place while working. Sheet is hinged to the window mat at four places on the upper edge of the reverse. It is not fully square on the window.
Reverse with brown paper tape remnants along the top edge from a prior mounting, and some foxing along the upper 6 inches.
