Watercolor on paper, sight size 15 1/2 x 25 1/2 in. (39.4 x 64.8 cm),framed.
Condition: Scattered minor fox marks, not examined out of frame.
Provenance: Sotheby's New York, Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, May 28, 1987, Sale No. 5584, Lot 365; through to the current owner.

Framed dimensions are 24 x 34 x 7/8 inches.
Frame was opened during preview. Sheet size is 19 1/8 x 29 1/4 in. There is very minor toning to the sheet noticeable along the top edge. A fine pencil line defines the rectangle of the composition. Tack holes scattered along the vertical sides and the top. Some tiny rust spots or similar and some minor foxing in the upper left corner and at the lower right edge of the composition. Hinged to the window mat in three places on the reverse. Reverse with brown paper tape remnants along the top edge from a prior mounting.
