Signed "Wm Verplanck Birney" u.r., identified on labels from the Boston Art Club, Babcock Galleries, New York, and an exhibition label from the Arkansas Arts Center, Little Rock (see below), all affixed to the frame backing.
Watercolor and graphite on paper, sight size 23 1/2 x 17 1/2 in. (59.3 x 44.5 cm), framed.
Condition: Not examined out of frame.
Provenance: Private Collection, New York, 2007-present.

Framed dimensions are 34 x 27 3/4 x 2 in.
The dimensions provided on the gallery and exhibition labels provide what appears to be the sheet size of 24 1/4 x 18 1/8 inches.
Although the frame was not opened during cataloging, the condition appears good. The Boston Art Club label is a color photocopy which was taken from the backing of an earlier frame.
