Signed and dated "Stearns 1850" l.r., titled on a label from The American Art Union and on a fragmentary label, both affixed to the stretcher.
Oil on canvas, 28 13/4 x 36 in. (73.0 x 91.3 cm),framed.
Condition: Lined, retouch, fine, stable craquelure.
