Signed "EW Dickinson" along right edge, inscribed "La Cride" l.l., inscribed indistinctly and dated "Sanary... 1938" u.l., titled in the catalogue raisonné (see below),with a label from the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, affixed to the stretcher bar, labels from Tibor de Nagy Gallery, New York, Richard York Gallery, New York, and Meredith Ward Fine Art, New York, affixed to the frame backing, and a label from Leigh Morse Fine Arts, New York, affixed to the back of the frame.

Condition: Gentle canvas rippling near corners, possible retouch l.c.
