Large Banks Island Wood Food Dish, Vanuatu, 19th century, hardwood, in the form of a turtle standing on two cutout sled-like legs, with a loop lug head on one side, and a serrated tail on the opposite side, the top with serrated rim, (minor wood loss and age cracks),ht. 6, lg. 16 1/2, wd. 14 in.
