Pair of Batak Silver Ear Ornaments, Padung-Padung, Karo Batak, Northern Sumatra, Indonesia, solid cast silver wire bent into two wings of tight spirals, creating a phallic-form, often worn in conjunction with a headdress due to the weight, ht. 4 5/8, wd. 3 1/4 in. each.
Provenance: Collected in-situ in the early 1980s; Private collection, San Francisco, California.
